Born during a turbulent time in a serene location within the Colombian highlands, Patrick Schönenberger found his way to Switzerland where, after completing two semesters in international relations in Geneva, he finished his law studies at the University of Fribourg i.Ü. and the Centre for Transnational Legal Studies (Georgetown University). His educational journey was followed by internships at Sportradar AG in St. Gallen, and subsequently at Eversheds Sutherland AG in Zurich, where he was later admitted to the bar. As a lawyer, Patrick Schönenberger engaged in work across several large and small commercial law firms, consistently focusing on complex litigation proceedings before courts or arbitration tribunals, internal investigations/white collar crime, as well as debt collection and bankruptcy law.
